Bridal Showers = November Flowers…

….Ok maybe not flowers…but there will be boquets! My lovely cousin Bethany’s bridal shower was this last weekend and so here are a few pictures just to get an idea of how crafty my cousin Bekah is and how much fun we had! It was a blast getting to help!

Yes, yes I KNOW, you are asking “Anneka, where do you find all these attractive people to photograph?” I think must just be incredibly blessed (p.s. thanks Christina)! On Monday night I met the coolest couple, no joke. Hayden and Hilary (cute huh?) who didn’t even need any motivation from me to be photogenic or in love, they just have it naturally! They are both students at UMKC and are future doctors (attractive and smart to boot!). We had so much fun running around snapping shots and being glamourous (ok maybe a little hot and sweaty too). Thank you guys, you were so great! 😀

Wedding&Location-Engagement Demo

Holly, a fellow classmate (and amazing photographer!) and her boyfriend Andrew were so brave on Thursday. I don’t know if I could have run around campus being romantic and cute while 21 other photographers were recording my every move! Hats off to you two, you did amazing!

My incredible cousin, Bekah helped my create some pretty incredible dishes to photograph. It made such a huge difference having someone to help me and she is a natural at all things creative and attractive!

On Thursday we ran around campus with the Q-flash just to get more comfy with it. We were to take portraits of each other. Too bad it was raining!

For our first shooting day in W&L we went out and did some subtractive lighting exercises. It was hot and there were lots of us but we pulled through!
