Dakota & Tiffany-Cameron, MO Wedding

This last December I had the privilege of shooting a wedding for Aaron’s cousin in Cameron, MO. Dakota and Tiffany are a really sweet couple and it was a great opportunity to get to know them better. One thing is very clear…they are in love! Thanks again for letting Aaron and I be a part of your wedding day!

Herbed Polenta with a Mushroom Ragu

A while ago my cousin Bethany gave me this great recipe for parmesan herbed polenta with a mushroom herbed ragu. If you like vegetables it’s a great variety to the normal dishes you might serve for dinner. The bread is a herbed pull apart roll bread that is absolutely amazing! I just love the richness of the colors in these images.

My little munchkin of a sister was born on August 26th and to celebrate such an occasion we had a little party. Of course we had to eat her favorite food; stroganoff, corn and cottage cheese and cake for dessert! So I decided that even though she thinks she is 11 going on 30 she still needed a girly cake. I still can’t believe she is so old! These are just a few quick shots of the cake for fun.

Cupcake love

I love spending time with my friend Hannah. Inevitably we eat. Something delicious. 9 times out of 10.

A couple weekends ago she made these beautiful little cupcakes for me to photograph. And I ate them ;)

Jeep-Outstanding in it’s field…

So I’ve been doing some interesting assignments for my Advertising class this semester and a lot of the photos just disappear into the abyss that is my hard drive. I had a few awesome assistants on this one so I wanted to make sure they got to see the results ;) . Thought they were kind of fun. I by no means profess to being an automobile photographer…

Anyone who knows me and who the amazing man in my life is, will understand these photos ha ha! ;)

happiness. in square form

Aren’t these cards ADORABLE? Guess what? They are completely handmade! Carol, who makes them, spends hours handcrafting them. I only wish I had that kind of patience. I completely fell in love with them the minute I saw them and am very excited about shooting more of them in the future!

“Not all who wander are lost”

My father has taught me a real life lesson. It is important every once in a while to hijack your kids, kicking and screaming, and tell them that a little bout out of doors is just the thing to do to liven the spirits and freshen the mind. (aka child abuse) ha ha… Anyway, the older I get the more I appreciate it (please don’t anyone divulge this secret to him). Often times, once we get past all the kicking and screaming and declarations of “your ruining my life dad, I just want to be home watching TV!” we really do have fun :)

Our little Christmas adventure near our new home!

I’m in love…

Well you see, in my opinion there is one thing we all really can’t resist I don’t care who you are. That my friends is a tiny, little, precious, wonderful baby. In this case the baby is Malachi and he.is.adorable! I’m in love ;)
