Jewelry-#1

In our Monday meeting of Photo Forum we had our “come to Jesus” moment aka “Mid-Program will kill you” talk and ever since then I have felt the need to take pepto and tums. Needless to say we are all a little freaked out. So, from this day until “the day that shall not be named” is over, I have no life other than school/photographing. Goodbye sweet sweet world….

For those of you that are unfamiliar with our program we are required to go through a panel review near the end of our school career. In short, it consists of going in front of our entire photography faculty department (alone) and showing a portfolio of our work. The tales of horror from this ordeal are legend in our school and so we all get really nervous when even the name is mentioned. Oh and it’s pass or fail. And we can’t graduate until we pass. And I’ll be doing this in a few short weeks. AHHHH….

Ok so maybe I’m being a bit dramatic but still, it’s scary!

So anyway, I’m trying some new things. I’ve been wanting to photograph jewelry forever and I finally found my inspiration! My aunt recently “inherited” some antique jewelry and is being so kind as to let me photograph it. I love old things but hate the constant fear that something is going to fall apart ha ha. I have a long way to go but really enjoyed my first experience!
