I have a love/hate relationship with the studio. I love all the possibilities of things to be created and captured, I love that a pumpkin won’t tell you it looks too fat or that you better remove all it’s imperfections. I love that there is a degree of control, and that you aren’t crunched for daylight. The only thing about studio, is there is always a degree of difficulty. It is WAY harder than it looks. Our outside world is so natural and trying to recreate that is so challenging! As a commercial photography major, I just have to keep working at it and growing the “love” side of our relationship! This last week we took a field trip to the Hallmark Commercial Studio and needless to say, I.AM.IN.LOVE! It was one of the most exciting things I’ve gotten to do! It was so inspiring and I can only dream of getting to that level some day! Keep praying for me that I’ll reach that place, I’ll need all the prayers and inspiration!
